Smokey quartz is a root chakra stone hence it enhances survival instincts and has an energizing effect on the physical body, particularly healing for the legs, hips. abdomen, kidneys and pancreas. It is considered a stone of peace and serenity and will calm the emotions turning anything negative into the positive. Because of this it is a great stone for transformation and protection.
