7 of pentacles tarot card meaningThe 7 of Pentacles
'What is the meaning to all this' In the card we see a man with his head bowed, he is in a very contemplative mood, resting his hands on a staff. We can see six pentacles surrounding him and he has one on the floor in front of him. The single pentacle marks his next move, his next step, the way forward. What is he waiting for? Is he taking a break? He has worked very hard to be where he is today, but is he satisfied with the results? This card is asking you, Have you been successful? Have you achieved what you set out to do? The seven of pentacles is a contemplative card, it asks you step aside for a moment and think about what it is you have achieved or are trying to achieve. This is a great card if you are thinking about change, I like the word ‘ponder’ for this card, here he stands resting on his tools, taking a breather, asking if all his hard work has paid off. Remember you have free will, the choices you make, the path you decide to take is down to you alone. Are you ready to set out a new pathway? A quirky thing to notice on the card is his boots, they are actually different colours. Have you heard of the saying ‘the boot is now on the other foot’, has there been a role reversal here? Are you now in a position that someone else was in, have you achieved what you wanted to, or are you asking yourself ‘what is the meaning to all this?’. Is it time to re-consider your own pathway.
