How to Use the Power of Colour in Everyday Life Imagine a world with no colour, how unexciting this would be. Colours provide a vital role in our everyday lives and have been used in every culture, religion and tradition. At either end of the colour spectrum we have Black and White. White is the colour of the moon and feminine energy and symbolizes purity and light, it promotes ideas of innocence. It is the colour of faith and peace and perfect union. Black is the combination of all colours mixed together, it symbolizes darkness and a time to look within, it is the colour of potential, space and protection. Black is also the colour of allure and mystery, the colour of the unknown. It is a great colour to wear to feel totally in control and grounded. After all, all life first germinates in darkness.
The warm colours of red, orange and yellow evoke emotions from feeling warmth and comfort to feeling anger and hostility. Whilst colours on the blue spectrum which include blue, purple and green are described as calm colours but they can also bring feelings of sadness.
So colours have an influence on how we feel and act, different spiritual vibrations are produced by different colours. We all have the ability to draw on these vibrational colour rays, if we concentrate only on the positive, good and uplifting rays we will be helped in mind, body and spirit.
