Trust, what does that word mean to you?
Being open and honest and always true? Loving someone with all your heart Knowing one day it could fall apart Trust, it is only one simple word To share with others and be heard If trust is broken it is forever gone But holding on will make you strong Trust, one word what does it mean to you? Do you honestly have faith in all you do? Have trust and passion from the very start For no-one wants a broken heart Trust, how important is it to you? Living your life in the way you do If you love me in the way I love you You can trust me and I will trust you xx

So much hurt i feel today
Help me take this pain away The aching deep within my soul A hollow void, an empty hole Just right now I would give so much To hear your voice, a gentle touch To see you laugh, to see you smile If only for a little while My life is mine, that's for sure But yours was not, you gave much more So many others just like you True heroes, doing what they had to do The self-less acts without a choice The pain and sorrow that had no voice I feel your hurt, I feel your pain Oh how i want to see you again You are today and will always be In my soul, a part of me He is off again to war once more
The most awesome sight you ever saw A beret perched upon his head A distinguished sight, the deepest red On his way, he waves goodbye Another journey in the sky No-one knew what lay ahead Thousands jumped and thousands dead Out of the plane and on his way down Shot in the back before he hit the ground Captured and taken as prisoner of war With so many others, so many more Eight months of torture with nothing to eat Cold, wet and hungry and nowhere to sleep He could take no more of this living hell He had to escape, and he did as well Making his way through the woods by night Desperately keeping himself out of sight So weak and fragile and so very thin To deserve all of this, what was his sin? Two weeks went by, it felt like a year Then all of a sudden he gave a cheer His journey was over, in front of him stood An american soldier, right there in the wood Rescued at last, it was all now at an end Along the way he had lost his best friend Back in England, home at last Never to mention his awful past To help him forget his awful strife He came home to his lovely wife And in her arms she held tight His six week old baby, what a sight With so many others and without a fuss I will never forget what he did for us I will remember him always and when i'm sad I remember the paratrooper...my hero...my Dad! Bend, little willow
Wind's gonna blow you Hard and cold tonight Life, as it happens Nobody warns you Willow, hold on tight Nothing's gonna shake your love Take your love away No one's out to break your heart It only seems that way... hey Sleep, little willow Peace gonna follow Time will heal your wounds Grow to the heavens Now and forever Always came too soon Nothing's gonna shake your love Take your love away No one's out to break your heart It only seems that way... hey Bend, little willow Wind's gonna blow you Hard and cold tonight Life, as it happens Nobody warns you Willow, hold on tight Lyrics to Little Willow by Paul McCartney What is emotion? We all have them to a varying degree but how much control do we really have? There are two main emotions from which all others stem...Love & Fear...everything else we feel evolves around one of these two. Honesty, truth, compassion, happiness all encompass love. Inadequacy, confusion, hatred, anger, shame, guilt are all fear based emotions. Each of these emotions releases different chemicals, if there is a constant release of fear based emotion your physical body will react in illness and your immune system will weaken.
So can you control your emotions? You cant control them that is the wrong word but you can learn to manage them. If you try to control them repressed emotions will leak out and the vicious cycle will continue. We all come to this lifetime with a lesson to learn. Our core lesson will continue to repeat itself until it is understood and learned. Your pathway will lead you gently towards solving these core issues. Many of us are afraid of showing our feelings or even feeling our feelings, life is as much about what you feel as what you think. If we dont take time to 'feel' our emotions they become embedded in our bodies, in our muscles and our ligaments. It will take its toll on relationships as well. Write down your thoughts and feelings, your dreams and daydreams, these will all give you clues as to whats hidden or buried within yourself. Every time, every single time you feel a hurt write that hurt down, keep a list, look for a pattern....and learn to feel that emotion. Never say to yourself it doesnt matter, let the tears flow crying helps release these emotions. Ask your guides and angels to help you deal with these times. Most importantly dont be afraid of emotions, welcome them good and bad and know that all of us are born with all the same emotions....we all just react differently to certain situations. |
