The elk demands respect. He teaches us to stand tall in any given situation, to have independence. However the Elk is protective of his tribe, his tribe is his legacy, his admiration. He seeks a peaceful life with those that he loves by his side.

The Black Bear is the guardian, the mother, she nurtures her cubs and wo betide anyone who gets between a mother and her cubs. She is a gentle giant with her brood, however she has a ferocious side, the warrior. The black bear has two sides.
