The elk demands respect. He teaches us to stand tall in any given situation, to have independence. However the Elk is protective of his tribe, his tribe is his legacy, his admiration. He seeks a peaceful life with those that he loves by his side.
The elk has shown himself for you this month to ask you to look at your actions. Have you been like a bull in a china shop? Have you lost your temper over something trivial? Think about your tribe and think about fairness. Are things really as you perceive them?  Elk is considered as the bard of nature, listen to him, his song will help you remember the important things, that is who you are and why you are here.
