Do not worry about what others might say or think, what they think or you is none of your business. Instead let the focus be on you, only you and what you desire.
There is no time for self-doubt this month. Jobs will go through a rocky patch around the 17th, this will give you options, if a promotion is on the cards, take it, if an opportunity comes from elsewhere again take it, as long as it is in alignment with your passion then all is good.
